Sienna Plantation – Missouri City, TX

Client: Johnson Development Corporation

TBG developed a comprehensive master plan and landscape architecture program for Sienna Plantation, a 10,500-acre master-planned community located in Missouri City, Texas. TBG’s plan and landscape design create a cohesive identity for the community, integrating schools, churches and retail with Sienna’s 19 distinctive neighborhoods. Pedestrian-oriented streetscapes and an extensive trail network successfully connect parks and lakes with the community’s retail and residential fabric. More than 2,000 acres are dedicated to parks, recreation areas, lakes, greenbelts and a golf course. Existing natural elements, including mature live oaks, some more than two centuries old, remain integral to the site’s design. The trail system includes 20 miles of community trails and four miles of nature trails, which seamlessly articulate the site’s natural beauty.

Waterfront trails encourage an active lifestyle.
